Tate Tips - Potential Estimated Saving - Time, Effort & Arguments

Tate Tips - Potential Estimated Saving - Time, Effort & Arguments

Measure twice and cut once.... Good advice given to Apprentice Carpenters. You would have thought a Chartered Surveyor of 12 year plus standing would have known this. Recently we have been involved in moving a boundary between two properties. The Chartered Surveyor in question has now completed the plan incorrectly 3 times. At our instigation the Vendor, the Purchaser & Tate met together, pegged and measured it in 20 minutes....this time in metric (the previous 3 plans have been based on imperial measurements!!) and to triangulate the points (the previous three plans were not triangulated). Attention to detail now will save arguments in the future - get it right first time. www.tateresidential.co.uk
